The Team of Choice is set to host The Clever Boys at the Harry Gwala Stadium, kickoff is 19h30.

During the two team’s last encounter at the Bidvest stadium, on the 20th of August 2014, The Clever Boys won 1-0. Sthembiso Ngcobo put the Clever Boys ahead in the 21st minute.

Bidvest Wits’ last game of the first half of the season was against the University of Pretoria with The Clever Boys drawing 0-0 with the home side, while Maritzburg United lost to Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, 2-1.

Although Bidvest Wits haven’t been playing competitively for seven weeks, The Clever Boys have been kept hard at work by playing regular friendlies.

Paul Johnstone, assistant coach and fitness coach had the following to say: “They’re looking ready to go, a lot of hard work was done over the last few weeks following the break. The friendlies are the most important thing, they’re the closest we get to competitive matches”.

Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg United sit in 3rd and 7th places on the log, with 31 and 22 points respectively.

We wish The Clever Boys all the best!
