Platinum Stars host The Clever Boys

The Clever Boys will be hosted by Platinum Stars on Sunday the 14th of December at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, with kick-off at 15:30.

During the teams last encounter on the 22nd of October 2014 at the Bidvest Wits Stadium the visiting side took the game 2-0, with goals by Tlolane and Ziruntusa.

Despite their last encounter with Dinaledi, The Clever Boys are going into the game with a positive spirit. Dinaledi come off the back of a draw with Kaizer Chiefs whilst The Clever Boys won their last PSL game 4-2 against Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday.

The Clever Boys coach, Gavin Hunt, will reach remarkable heights this weekend when he becomes the first coach to take charge of 500 League games since the start of the PSL era in 1996.
Hunt is the longest surviving coach in the PSL having been forever present since taking over at Black Leopards in June 2001 with uninterrupted spells at Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits.
Speaking about the game on Sunday Hunt had the following to say, “Platinum Stars is a tough team, their standing on the log does them no justice. A few changes will need to be made to the team as the game will be a little slower than our last game. But of course we will be looking to come back with three points”.
The match will be broadcast on SABC 1.  #ForgedInJozi
