Bidvest Wits suffered a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Bloemfontein Celtic, with Siwelele scoring late on to secure all three points at Bidvest Stadium.
The Clever Boys got off to a solid start and showed their attacking intent from as early as 2 minutes in. The Clever Boys kept knocking at the door as Haashiem Domingo, Simon Murray and Deon Hotto all came to the party to try and gain the lead.
Darren Keet was called into action at the other end on a few occasions to deny Celtic from taking the lead and dealt with everything Celtic through at him.
The deadlock was broken early in the second half when Domingo sent a bullet of a shot flying into the top corner from outside the box, giving Wits a well-deserved lead at the time.
Celtic were awarded a penalty in the 77th minute when Robyn Johannes collided with substitute Tshegofatso Mabasa, and the defender was subsequently given his marching orders for the foul.
Mabasa stepped up and converted the spot-kick to draw level. But, Mabasa struck again a few minutes later against the 10-man Wits, after being played in and rounded Keet to score the match winner for Siwelele
Despite being a man down, Wits pushed for an equaliser in the final moments of the match, but it wasn’t to be for the Clever Boys.
