Bidvest Wits aim for Celtic win
Bidvest Wits will go in search of their first Absa Premiership win this season when they host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday, 1 September. Kick-off is at 18h00.
Bidvest Wits began the season with a 2-0 defeat away to Free State Stars on the opening weekend.
The Johannesburg side then recorded a 2-2 home draw against Black Leopards in their next encounter and they will want to go one step further and pick up all the points on offer in this match.
Celtic also kicked-off their league campaign with a loss, going down 3-2 away to Black Leopards. They then bounced back against Platinum Stars in their last outing, recording a 2-1 win.
In head-to-head stats, Wits and Celtic have met in 46 league matches since 1985.
