Bidvest Waltons came to the party on Monday 26 January, with a sizable stationary donation to the Bidvest Wits Academy boys ahead of their 2020 schooling year.
“Waltons have partnered with us for as long as I can remember and we’re extremely grateful for long term relationships such as these. They’ve always supported #TheCleverBoys by supplying our much needed stationary requirements so that our boys are well-equipped come class time,” Says Bidvest Wits Football Club COO, Jonathan Schloss.
Bidvest Waltons CEO, Mr Trevor Girnun commented on the handover;
“These 28 boys have an extremely bright footballing future, but obviously school must always come first so that they have a sound education. We’re extremely proud that we can meet their classroom needs, hopefully allowing them to focus on achieving great grades and excelling as much off the field as on it.”
Joined by first team players Terence Dzvukamanja and Phathutshedzo Nange, the academy boys welcomed the handover so says BWFC Academy Head, Ashley Makhanya;
“Thank you Waltons, I cannot explain how donations such as these are appreciated: You certainly brought a smile to every boy this afternoon!”
